Glamorous Wedding Shoot

Get ready to see some mind blowing pictures.

I loved the nose ring and had some fun poses for it, but it didn't work so well with this shoot.

Here's a shot of Rukhsana's posing with it on.

 

 

 I wanted to take some shots of the bride dmiring herself just like all us girls do after we get ready  :) 



Tip* You should alway get the same lip color that your makeup artist used to be able to touched your lips after dinner, or even as the night goes on lips color comes off.

& we were ready to shoot...

 

Oh wait... we still needed shoes... I LOVE taking pictures with shoes (is that weird?) I dont think so cause shoes are HOT~

I still needed to get some test shots so as Rukhsana put the final touch on her outfit, I got some of my test shots <3

SFK Art & Events

 

 

I had always wanted to be a studio photography. My dream was to open a studio for newborns and family. This event is what really got me into doing "Event Photography"

 It's kinda hard for me to believe it myself but ya I love event Photography now. 

Here's how it stated... 

 

 

This beautiful young lady is Javairia. This was her high school graduations party and I was her photographer. But this was not the 1st time I got to take Javairia's pictures.

The 1st photoshoot of Javairia with SFK (at that time I was just Saira) was when Javairia was only 4 or 5 years old. (I will try to find that picture and post it)
So when Javairia graduations party came I was asked by her mom to take pictures at the party. Even thou I did not do event photography at the time, I wanted to be her photographer for some reason.

I am so thankful that I was able to cover Javairia's graduations party. I had so much fun that I didn't even know when the party was over.

 

The party was at a very pretty hall with water falls in the back and so many nice place to take the guests for pictures.

 

 

 



I was still not sure if "Event Photography" was for me. I had been doing studio photography for almost 10 years and worked with newborn 80% of the time. As I posted the images online, I got great feedback and a lot of people asked to have their event covered by SFK Art. Not sure what really to do I passed most of the customers to other event photographers.

Then one day I got a call from Rukhsana and she to talked about Javairia party & that she loved my work on facebook. We talked for a bit  and picked a date to me, to go over shoot for Rukhsana's Beautiy Place.

And life went on... :)

Rukhsana had Sonia model for her makeup and I got to show off what I really can do.

We were on site at one of my favorite place, where I love to take my models.

 

Working from Rukhsana's mini van and seeing the things Rukhsana can do was wow in everyway. 

 

Sonia was just beautiful. Wonderful to work with!

 

We started off with a simpler look for Sonia and Rukhsana did what looked to be basic touch up as we continued the shoot but it was more then just basic. It had Rukhsana's touch & completely change the look within minutes.

 

 

We also did some shots the Bollywood way.

We did not have enough time, as i had talked Rukhsana into doing a bit more then a mini shoot herself.

 

How I met Rukhsana Q.

Back in July 2012 I got to cover a event where Rukhsana was invited but due to her busy weekends, she was unable to be there. Rukhsana later saw pictures of that event on my SFK Art of Photography page and called me to say she really liked the pictures of the girls and that she wished she was there.

Few weeks later we met to talk about getting some of Rukhsana's work pictures taken and also do a mini shoot of Rukhsana herself.

Rukhsana wanted some professional pictures of her work and some of herself for her business card and web site.

 

Rukhsana was so easy to work with. She knew the different looks the camera needs even before I asked her. We were done with her work shoot within half hour.

 

But SFK was not done with Rukhsana!
